Five dollars is the new price for a domestic draft at Marcus Theatres locations in the Milwaukee area during the World Series. The theater chain announced the flat rate for beer on Thursday as part of a larger package of game day deals and special events designed for fans watching the Brewers.
The offer is part of a wider promotional slate. Customers can also purchase Game Time Lemonades for $9 and medium pizzas for $10. Appetizers will be available at half price at participating sites. The chain is also distributing vouchers for free Junior popcorn to members of the Magical Movie Rewards program. These members must see a movie by Oct. 31 to qualify, and the vouchers are redeemable from Nov. 4 through Nov. 24. Non members can sign up for the program for free before their visit.
Jeff Tomachek, president of Marcus Theatres, stated the company has waited 44 years for this opportunity. "We've been waiting 44 years for a moment like this, and we couldn't be more excited to celebrate alongside our Milwaukee community," he said. Tomachek described the theaters as gathering places where fans can watch the games or revisit local baseball history.
The chain will screen two films related to Milwaukee baseball history. The titles are "UECK" and "Just a Bit Outside: The Story of the 1982 Milwaukee Brewers." These screenings will take place at specific Marcus locations across the region. The list includes Marcus Bay Park Cinema in Ashwaubenon and Marcus Green Bay East Cinema in Green Bay. Other sites include Marcus Hillside Cinema in Delafield, Marcus Hollywood Cinema in Appleton, and Marcus Majestic Cinema of Brookfield in Waukesha.
Additional screening locations include Marcus Menomonee Falls Cinema, Marcus Renaissance Cinema in Sturtevant, Marcus Ridge Cinema in New Berlin, Marcus Sheboygan Cinema, and Marcus South Shore Cinema in Oak Creek. Fans planning to watch the live games can do so on large screens in the bars and lounges at several sites. These include Movie Tavern Brookfield and The Wall at Gurnee Cinema.
The chain noted that fans can gather at Marcus North Shore Cinema and Marcus BistroPlex for the live events. Ticket details, specific showtimes, and a full list of participating locations are available on the Marcus Theatres website and its mobile app. The information was provided in a press release from the company.
The $5 draft price applies to domestic beer only. The promotional period aligns with the Brewers' World Series run. The chain aims to offer an alternative venue for fans who prefer a movie theater atmosphere over a bar or stadium setting.
