Ice & Cream Creamery is set to occupy the former Brutique space at 648 Central Avenue in downtown St. Pete. The location, which closed in July after nine years of operation, will be renovated into a 1,500-square-foot shop. This new store will serve as the eighth outpost for the local chain, joining existing branches in Clearwater, Madeira Beach, Dunedin, St. Pete Beach, Treasure Island, and Gulfport.
The menu offers 48 distinct flavors created in small batches using locally sourced ingredients. Classic options include butter pecan, rocky road, cookies and cream, and mint chip. Specialty varieties feature red velvet cake, salted caramel peanut, and coconut almond fudge. The shop also lists Stellar Coffee, pistachio, dulce de leche, and a Dreamsicle mix of vanilla ice cream and orange sherbet.
Non-ice cream selections include watermelon and red raspberry sorbets, key lime and rainbow sherbets, and dairy-free coconut milk ice cream. Gluten-free and sugar-free vanilla, chocolate, and mint chip options are available for customers with specific dietary needs. The shop also serves $6.50 hand-spun milkshakes, ice cream floats, and Twisters, a product similar to a Blizzard.
Pricing for scoops starts at $4.97 for a single serving. Double scoops cost $7.97, while triple scoops are $11.97. Toppings such as Reese’s peanut butter cups, Oreos, Nutella, gummy bears, sliced strawberries, marshmallow fluff, and hot fudge add 97 cents to the order. The specific opening date for the downtown location has not yet been announced.
The move brings a new food and beverage tenant to the 600 block of Central Avenue. The previous tenant, Brutique, operated in that location for nearly a decade before shutting down in mid-2026. The new creamery aims to expand its footprint in downtown St. Pete while maintaining its current menu structure across all Pinellas County stores.
