Diners in Coral Gables can now access the kitchen at 4612 S. Le Jeune Road. The restaurant has reopened after a 14-month closure. Owners completed a full renovation of the interior during that period.

Felix Palencia leads the operation. He stated that the visual changes do not alter the culinary output. "We brought back our flavors. We brought back our generous portions, and our recipes are the same," Palencia said. He added that the establishment now features a "very good-looking" space.

The menu remains centered on specific Cuban preparations. Palencia identified vaca frita as the signature item. The dish uses slow-cooked meat that is shredded and sautéed with onions and Cuban mojo. Another popular entry is ham milanesa. This consists of a breaded steak topped with ham, cheese, and milanesa sauce.

Beverages and desserts complete the standard meal. The menu lists the mojito as a staple drink. For dessert, Palencia highlighted the Nutella Overdose. This item mixes vanilla ice cream with Nutella and a brownie piece. It is finished with chocolate crumble, ganache, and whipped cream.

The restaurant has operated in Miami for more than 30 years. The recent closure lasted roughly a year. During that time, staff updated the physical space. Palencia credited the consistent focus on Cuban flavors for the venue's long-term presence in the community.

Customers visited the location on the first day of service. One diner noted the visual impact of the new interior upon entering. "I thought, 'Wow, they've redone the whole place; it looks beautiful,'" the customer said. They described the food as "great, like it's always been." Palencia described the venue as a hub for "the best Cuban food in Miami."
